Privacy Policy

This page is a generic starting-point draft for the prototype, not a legally reviewed policy. Before this site goes live, have it reviewed against the laws that actually apply to you (e.g. India's DPDP Act, and GDPR/CCPA if you have EU/California readers), and update it to reflect exactly what you collect.

What we may collect

  • Basic analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type) if analytics are enabled.
  • An email address, only if you subscribe to a newsletter or WhatsApp/Telegram channel, or contact us directly.
  • Admin account data (email, hashed password, role) for editorial staff logging into /admin.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell personal data to third parties.
  • We don't store plaintext passwords — admin passwords are hashed with scrypt and never logged.

Cookies

The admin area uses a single session cookie to keep editors signed in. The public site may use cookies for basic analytics once an analytics provider is connected — none are configured in this prototype build.
